Hello, I am James Little, the new Executive Director for the Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo. (I go by Jamie.) I previously worked as the Interpretive Coordinator for the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. I am a certified Interpretive Guide and Trainer through the National Association for Interpretation and have a Degree in Environmental Interpretation from The Ohio State University. In Oregon I also enjoyed the opportunity to serve on the Task Force to implement the Oregon Environmental Literacy Plan. My first day in the office was July 1st. My interests including birding, botany, and nature photography. My family includes my wife, Sue, and son Danny, who is starting high school at Pueblo West.
There are many wonderful programs in place at the Nature and Raptor Center, thanks to our talented staff and many great volunteers. Many thanks to all of our partners and our dedicated Board members that have enabled our success. We will be working on an update to our Strategic Plan to help position the organization for future growth. One of my first projects will be developing a membership campaign for the Nature and Raptor Center.
I can be contacted at (719) 549-2345 or Send me an Email. I look forward to meeting you!
